| Flight Instructor Certification Course |
Minimum Course Requirements:
Hold a valid Commercial Pilot Helicopter Certificate
Hold a current FAA Third Class Medical Certificate
Pass an FAA Helicopter Flight Instructor Knowledge Test
Pass an additional FAA Knowledge Test on the
Fundamentals of Instruction
Pass an FAA Helicopters Flight Instructor Practical Test
Obtain a minimum of 200 hours of flight time and 20 hours
of ground instruction as per course outline.
Cost for flight time will vary depending on how much time is
already logged above and beyond the required 150 for your
commercial rating.
Flight time is at standard rates unless you purchase
discounted rate in 10 hour blocks (see Training page).
